NSU Library and Dept. of Graduate Studies and Research of NSU have jointly arranged a Faculty Workshop Program for Faculty Members of North South University on 28-November-2017, Tuesday. The session covers hands-on Training on three subscribed Literary Tools –
(i) Turnitin, (ii) Mendeley, and (iii) Grammarly.
The Workshop Program started at 2.40 PM and ended at 4.40 PM at Room # NAC 513.
Total 51 faculty members were present as participants.
In the session following Resource Persons demonstrated the tools-
- Mr. Rajiv Mahmud, Senior IT Officer, Library [Managing and using the Turnitin software]
- Mr. M. M. Shoeb, Sr. Assistant Librarian [ Grammarly]
- Dr. Md. Zahid Hossain Shoeb, University Librarian [Mendeley].
Dr. Sharif Nurul Ahkam, Director, Graduate Studies and Research, was the organizer of the Faculty Workshop Program.
Dr. Ahkam explored the analytical and conceptual definition of Plagiarism by his presentation “Plagiarism – Similarity analysis with Turnitin“.
