Office of Graduate Studies and NSU Library jointly organized five Faculty Workshops on the use of SCOPUS for the faculty members of NSU during Spring 2020.  Main Objective of this program to introduce Scopus and Scopus related activities, Scopus access, and increase publishing in Scopus-indexed journals by the faculty members.  Each session was followed by 25 participants at a time.

For the faculty members who recently joined ware highly encouraged participating the program. The goal of this workshop is to guide the research career plan, and  to increase the number of publications in the scopus-indexed journals from this affiliation.

Among five sessions, the First session of the Workshop was held at NAC-513 on 13 February 2020 for the faculty members of School of Business and Economics. Pro Vice Chancellor of North South University Dr. M. Ismail Hossain was present at the session. At the beginning of the session he presented a view introductory speech regarding the importance and objective of the workshop.

The second session of the Workshop was held at NAC-513 on 27 February 2020 for the faculty members of School of Engineering & Physical Sciences and School of Health & Life Sciences.  The session was conducted by Prof. Sharif Nurul Ahkam, Director, Office of the Graduate Studies and  Dr. Md. Zahid Hossain Shoeb, University Librarian. Faculty members of respective schools presented their research methodologies and ideas.
