Unlocking Academic Articles: Smart Database Search
The North South University Library is pleased to announce an interactive workshop titled “Unlocking Academic Articles: Smart Database Search,” scheduled for Thursday, 27 November 2025. This hands-on session will help students strengthen their research skills and make effective use of the library’s vast electronic resources.
What You Can Learn?
Participants will gain practical knowledge on how to access and search academic databases efficiently- both on campus and remotely through OpenAthens. The workshop will cover techniques for refining search results, identifying peer-reviewed resources, and applying advanced search strategies to support academic writing and research projects. Students will leave with greater confidence in locating reliable, high-quality scholarly information for their assignments and theses.
