Circulation Desk Services

The Circulation Desk, the general service desk of the library, provides library-related information and services to its patrons.  The Desk is located on the 3rd floor of the library building, to the left of the entrance. , and staffed during the operational hours of the library. Ruling as a major service point, the Circulation Desk remains open throughout the library hours to support patrons. Patrons may get common library services here, like checkout and return of library items, locating reserved items, picking up items on hold, collecting library membership cards, paying library fines, issuing library clearance, etc.

Borrowing Privilege

• All registered members can borrow the open shelf collection according to the library’s circulation policy.
• Undergraduate students are allowed to borrow 3 books at the same time for 14 days, and may renew the item(s) online for another 14 days.
• Graduate Students and administrative staff can borrow 4 books at once for 14 days, and may renew the item(s) online for another 14 days.
• Core Faculty members can borrow 15 books at once for the current semester.
• Part-time faculty members can borrow 5 books at once for the current semester.
• Core faculty members and administrative staff can borrow magazines for one week.
• Reference items, journals, and closed-stack collections are not available for loan.
