As per the decision of the North South University (NSU) authority, the NSU Library will remain closed from Tuesday, 17 March 2026, to Wednesday, 26 March 2026, on the occasion of Holy Shab-e-Qadr and Eid-ul-Fitr.

During this period, all on-site library services will be suspended. This includes circulation services such as borrowing and returning books, reference and research support at the service desks, and access to the physical library facilities. Regular library operations will resume on the next working day according to the university schedule.

Although the physical library will be closed during the holiday period, users will still have uninterrupted access to the NSU Library’s digital resources through the NSU Library website. These resources include e-books, e-journals, research databases, and the Library Catalogue (OPAC), all of which can be accessed at any time. Members of the NSU community can also utilize the library’s remote access services to access subscribed electronic resources from off-campus.

For urgent queries or research-related assistance, users are encouraged to contact the library through the Ask-A-Librarian service available on the NSU Library website. The NSU Library team will be available online during the holiday period to support the academic and research needs of students and faculty members.
