The North South University (NSU) Library welcomed a delegation from the Department of Library and Information Science, Habibullah Bahar College, on September 15, 2026, as part of an academic visit to learn about modern academic library services, facilities, and activities.

A total of 20 participants, including three faculty members, took part in the visit. The delegation was led by Ms. Tania Sultana, Head of the Department of Library and Information Science, Habibullah Bahar College.

The visiting team was warmly welcomed by the officials of the NSU Library. During the visit, the delegation toured various sections and service areas of the library and gained firsthand insights into its facilities, resources, technologies, and day-to-day operations. As part of the program, the NSU Library also organized a workshop on library services and activities for the visiting faculty members and students. The workshop provided an overview of the NSU Library’s library services, user support initiatives, digital resources, research assistance, and other activities that support teaching, learning, and research.

The visit provided an excellent opportunity for academic and professional knowledge exchange between the two institutions. The NSU Library looks forward to continued collaboration and knowledge-sharing with the Department of Library and Information Science, Habibullah Bahar College.
