Special Workshop on
Understanding GenAI: Basic Generative AI Literacy
To commemorate National Library Day 2026, the North South University Library is pleased to organize a special workshop titled “Understanding GenAI: Basic Generative AI Literacy.” Scheduled for Sunday, 8 February 2026, this workshop aims to introduce participants to the fundamental concepts of generative AI and its growing role in academic and research environments.
Designed as a beginner-friendly session, the workshop will focus on building essential AI literacy skills for students and researchers, helping them understand how generative AI tools work, where they can be effectively used, and the ethical considerations involved in their academic application.
(Participants will receive certificates upon participation.)
