Academic Integrity and Avoiding Plagiarism
The North South University Library is pleased to announce a workshop titled “Academic Integrity and Avoiding Plagiarism,” scheduled for Thursday, 6 November 2025. This important session is designed to help students understand the principles of academic honesty and the ethical use of information in research and writing.
What You Can Learn?
Participants will explore what constitutes plagiarism, why academic integrity matters, and how to properly acknowledge sources in their work. The workshop will cover strategies for paraphrasing, summarizing, and citing correctly to avoid unintentional plagiarism. Students will also learn about tools and techniques for maintaining originality and building responsible research habits.
