The Hon’ble Minister of Information and Broadcasting Ministry of Bangladesh, Dr. Hasan Mahmud visited North South University Central Library on June 17, 2021. During this visit, the Hon’ble Minister toured the newly inaugurated Bangabandhu and Liberation War Corner of the Library. The University Librarian Dr. Md. Zahid Hossain Shoeb introduced this corner to the Hon’ble Minister and other guests presented with him. Dr. Md. Zahid shortly briefed about the collection of resources and facilities of the corner. The Hon’ble Minister was highly impressed observing the great collection of books, documents and videos related to  the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the Nation’s Liberation War Event, including various photographic events in the Photography Corner from 1948 to 1972. At the end of the visit the Hon’ble Minister signed the visitor’s comment book.

With the visit of the Hon’ble Minister of Information and Broadcasting, there was present Mr. M. A. Kashem, the Honorable Chair of BOT, NSU. Along with the Chair, other members of the BOT namely Mr. Benajir Ahmed, Member, BOT, Mr. Aziz AI Kaiser, Member, BOT, Mrs. Yasmin Kamal, Member, BOT, Mr. Tanveer Harun, Member, BOT were present. Prof. Atiqul Islam, Vice-Chancellor, and Dr. M Ismail Hossain, Pro Vice-chancellor, North South University  were also present during the visit.
