The North South University Library is pleased to announce a workshop titled “Managing References and Citations with Mendeley,” scheduled for Thursday, 20 November 2025. This hands-on session will help students and researchers efficiently manage their references and citations using Mendeley, a free and powerful reference management tool. The NSU Library provides access to the premium version of Mendeley, allowing users to enjoy advanced features for collaboration, cloud storage, and research organization.

What You Can Learn?

In this workshop, participants will gain hands-on experience using Mendeley Premium, the advanced version of the reference management tool available through the NSU Library’s institutional subscription. The session will demonstrate how to collect and organize research materials, import references from journal databases, and generate accurate citations and bibliographies in styles such as APA and Harvard. Participants will also learn how to annotate and manage PDF files, synchronize their libraries across multiple devices, and collaborate effectively with peers through shared collections and research groups. By the end of the session, attendees will be equipped with the skills to manage their references efficiently, maintain accuracy in academic writing, and enhance their overall research workflow.
