Study Carrel Use Policies and Guidelines

Policy

The North South University Library provides study carrels designed to offer a quiet and focused environment for academic work. These carrels are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to graduate students to support their extensive research and study needs. To ensure fair access and efficient use of these spaces, the library has established clear policies and guidelines that include time management rules, restrictions on food and beverages, and requirements for personal belongings. These rules are intended to maintain order, minimize distractions, and preserve the study-friendly atmosphere of the carrels. Adherence to these policies ensures that all users can benefit from the conducive study environment that the NSU Library aims to uphold.
