Periodicals are newspapers, magazines, scholarly journals (local and international), newsletters, pamphlets, and brochures. These are publications that are published at regular intervals. Periodicals often contain information on the latest trends, products, research, and theories.
The NSU Library Periodical section is located on the 2.5th (2nd mezzanine) floor of the library building. The purpose/objective of this section is to meet the current information needs of the user community of the university through the proper means of selection, acquisition, organization, and dissemination of current magazines, printed journals, newspapers, thesis papers, annual reports, convocation/orientation documents (pamphlet, brochure, news clipping, etc.) and other types of serial publications. The current collection development of periodical is based on purchase, gift, and donation.
These items are non-issuable, and library users are allowed to read the materials inside of the periodical section only. The timing of this section is 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and closes on Friday and Saturday.
